i got doubts on buying the speedlight for canon 400d.. just wanna knw wat is the best and bugdet speedlight to buy and y?

I believe you meant speedlite .. Speedlight is the system used by nikon ..

Currently .. A good budget speedlite would be 430EX II .. You can get it for ~$430SGD .. If more power is required .. then go for 580EX II which cost ~$700 ...

There are many more 3rd party flashgun you may get .. but i am not really familiar with them .. hope others could enlighten me perhaps .. =)

i got my speedlite 430EX II for $420.. yeah, 430 doesnt have a white card..
